Company Overview
Liverpool Basketball Club, Liverpool Basketball and LBC are the trading names of Liverpool Basketball Club Ltd, which is a Company Limited by Guarantee registered in England and Wales No. 4108427 and a members club. The Company has no owner and has not issued any shares. Membership of the club is on an annual basis for a fee that varies depending on age and basketball registration status. Membership is open to all who support the club’s objectives, irrespective of whether they wish to be players or non-players.
LBC is dependent for its income on player fees & contributions, sponsorship and a variety of other fund-raising activities. All income is used for the development and operation of the Club. The main expense is court hire for training and games, with the costs of running teams in the National League following a close second. The Club has no employees. All Directors and the Executive volunteer their time and efforts.

Objectives:
To promote the sport of basketball at all levels for people resident in Liverpool and other areas of Merseyside regardless of age, sex, physical ability, race or colour.
Youth Development:
LBC actively promotes the development of youth and junior basketball, currently running U14 & U16 Boys teams in National competitions, an U14 Girls team in National competitions and an U12 mixed team in local tournaments. LBC also runs Community sessions at Speke Sports Centre, Halewood Leisure Centre, De La Salle Academy, Archbishop Beck Sports Academy and Archbishop Beck Tennis & Community Centre.
